On the morning of September 21, 2025, the Asia Book of Records proudly hosted the inaugural Gender Awards ceremony. Under the theme "Empowering Voices – Spreading Values," the event brought together a distinguished gathering of social reformers, women leaders, policymakers, record holders, and representatives from international organizations. It was a vibrant celebration of ingenuity, perseverance, and global ambition in the fight for gender equality.
The event was held under the visionary leadership of our founding members and international delegates. Their guidance ensured the gathering was a remarkable convergence of progressive thought, cultural heritage, and international unity.
The grand occasion welcomed numerous record holders and champions of women empowerment from neighbouring countries, reflecting the spirit of cross-border collaboration and shared excellence. Representing various nations at this prestigious ceremony were distinguished delegates, industry leaders, and grassroots activists who have made profound impacts on women's education, health, and economic independence.
A key milestone of the event was the launch of the Standing Committee for Gender Equality Initiatives – a specialized body central to our operations. This committee will guide the appraisal and recognition of records and milestones achieved by women using transparent, scientific criteria. The ceremony also included the signing of strategic cooperation agreements between the Asia Book of Records and international NGOs, reinforcing a commitment to sustainable development within the record-holder community.
One of the most anticipated moments was the announcement of the Grand Records – Essence of Records Award. This prestigious award honours individuals and organisations whose records reflect profound influence, creativity, and contributions to humanity's progress in achieving gender parity.
