Having completed his pre-medical education at the prestigious Bagria Bal Vidya Niketan (Lachhmangarh, Sikar) and Maharaja College Jaipur, Dr. Mehara qualified for Rajasthan PMT with top ranks. He went on to pursue his MBBS, M.S. in Orthopaedics, and Senior Residency at India's premier medical institute — All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi between 1981 and 1991.
